This Privacy Policy explains how NearNow collects, uses, and protects information used to operate the marketplace.

What NearNow collects

Guest booking details such as client name, email address, a phone number only when the guest provides one, appointment details, and notes.
Provider account details such as business profile data, portfolio images, subscription state, and booking activity.
Operational records needed for fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, support, billing, disputes, tax, and security.

How NearNow uses information

To power provider discovery, booking coordination, secure guest booking access links, and provider account features.
To send optional transactional SMS only when a guest separately and affirmatively opts in. SMS consent is not required to submit a booking request.
To manage Provider Plan billing through Stripe on the web and StoreKit on iOS.

SMS and mobile information

NearNow collects a mobile phone number only when a user chooses to provide one. Transactional SMS consent is optional, separate from submitting a booking request, and is not a condition of purchase or use of NearNow.

When you affirmatively opt in, NearNow may use your mobile number to send transactional messages about booking requests and confirmations, provider responses, schedule changes, appointment reminders, cancellations, and related booking updates. Message frequency varies based on booking activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of NearNow text messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact support@nearnow.cc regarding messaging preferences.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent or opt-in data, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

NearNow may disclose mobile information to communications, hosting, security, and other service providers strictly as necessary to provide NearNow's communications and service functionality. Those providers may not use that information for their own independent marketing or promotional purposes.

How NearNow shares information

NearNow may disclose information to providers and vendors only as needed to operate bookings, communications, hosting, fraud prevention, support, and billing, or when required by law. NearNow does not authorize those recipients to use mobile information or SMS consent data for independent marketing or promotional purposes.

Payments and billing

Customers pay providers directly in person. NearNow does not collect customer service payments inside the marketplace.

Provider Plan subscription billing is handled by Stripe on the web and by Apple on iOS. NearNow does not store full payment-card numbers.

Marketplace role

NearNow is a marketplace service that helps guests discover independent providers and request bookings. Providers set their own pricing and remain responsible for any required licenses, permits, insurance, and local legal compliance.

Retention and deletion

NearNow may retain legally necessary billing, fraud, dispute, tax, and security records for up to 7 years even after a deletion request is completed.

Providers can delete their NearNow account from Account Settings after resolving bookings and ending any active subscription. Account deletion removes provider workspace access, disables the public listing, and deletes or anonymizes profile data where appropriate. Guests do not create public customer accounts in the current product model.
